JDR designs and manufactures Topside Wellhead Control umbilicals used to link dry trees to manifolds on Spar or TLP platforms.

Typical applications include hydraulic lines, chemical injection lines, gas lift lines, electrical signal cables and fiber optic elements. The product range of subcomponent hoses have technical advantages which have been achieved through an R&D program developed to push the boundaries of what is possible in hose and HCR technology - whether the application is high temperature, high pressure or chemically aggressive. Electrical and hydraulic junction boxes are also routinely supplied.

Umbilicals are terminated to mechanical terminations, which are used to anchor the umbilicals in place once pulled into position through a split-flange arrangement. This provides a fully tested, turnkey system to our clients.

JDR provides the umbilical pre-filled with control fluid and flushed to required cleanliness standard (typically Class 1638 NAS 6).
