Specialised Umbilicals for Subsea Facilities
JDR is a key provider of Subsea Isolation Valve (SSIV) umbilical systems. SSIV umbilicals can comprise both hydraulic and electrical functionality to hydraulically shut the valve in the event of an emergency within the pipeline, and electrically to monitor the closure of the valves as verification that the valves are closed.
All JDR umbilicals, cables, subcomponent hoses, leads and jumper assemblies are completed in-house with integrated terminations, providing a fully tested, flushed turnkey system. Mechanical stab-plates, armour bodies, junction boxes, couplings and bend limiter systems are routinely designed, engineered and fitted to satisfy client requirements.
