Pat Herbert
Executive Chairman
Pat joined JDR in 2002 as Chief Executive Officer, becoming Executive Chairman in 2011. As CEO he restructured JDR, overseeing the Group’s most dramatic growth period. His career began in 1976 at Smith International where he became an Officer of the corporation in 1986. He joined Baker Hughes as an Executive Officer in 1988 with global P&L responsibility, leading market and technology development and corporate governance activity including M&A.
David Currie
Chief Executive Officer
David joined JDR as CEO in January 2015. He is an accomplished industry leader with nearly 30 years’ experience in the global offshore energy industry, most recently as UK Regional President for Aker Solutions. Previously he held a range of senior positions within Europe and globally at FMC Technologies, including Director of Global Subsea Operations.
Ivan Coyard
CFO and Chief Compliance Officer
Ivan joined JDR in July 2015 as the new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, with the Group Head of HR reporting directly to him.  Ivan has over 25 years of finance experience in the Oil & Gas energy sector.  Before JDR, he was the Group COO for Reef Subsea where he led project management teams and established common processes in tendering and project execution and had been Reef’s CFO for 4 years.  Additionally, he has held a variety of executive finance positions across the globe with Acergy (now Subsea 7) and Technip.
Bob Solberg
Non-executive Director
Bob joined as Chairman in 2004, becoming a Non-executive director in 2012. For over 30 years Bob held increasingly responsible positions with Texaco, becoming president of Texaco Inc’s Worldwide Development division from 1998 until his retirement in 2002. Since then he has served on a number of boards including Pioneer Natural Resources, helping the company triple its market capitalization, Scorpion Offshore Ltd and Hyperdynamics, both of which he took to successful IPOs.
Jonathan Guest
Non-executive Director
Jonathan joined the JDR board in 2014. He is an Associate at Vision Capital and has portfolio responsibilities including BrightHouse, JDR, CPL Industries and Elegant Hotels Group. Previously Jonathan was at Nomura in the UK Financial Institutions Group investment banking team and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 2008.
Rob Hastings
Non-executive Director
Rob joined the board of JDR Cable Systems in December 2015. He is an Aeronautical Engineer with an MBA and has spent his career in the oil & gas and energy sectors in a range of enterprises from small to very large, mostly in the capacity of Executive Director. He was previously a Director at The Crown Estate, which is an independent commercial property business, incorporated through an act of parliament and managing extensive UK-wide land holdings. Having served as Director of the Energy & Infrastructure portfolio, Rob has played a key role in the commercial development and asset management of the UK’s seabed. Rob also serves as a Director of Indigo Power Ltd, and Indigo Solar LLP. Previously he was Vice President Shell Wind Energy and Chairman of Shell Wind Energy UK Limited. He has also served on a number of industry and government boards including Director of RenewableUK, the UK Government’s Renewables Advisory Board, the Offshore Wind Industry Council, and the joint government and industry Carbon Capture and Storage Developers Forum. He has also served for the EU commission as chair of the Finance Steering Group for the EU Ocean Energy Forum.
Alan Wilson
Non-executive Director
Alan joined the board of JDR Cable Systems in December 2015. He is a degree-qualified Chartered Engineer with 35 years of experience working in the oil & gas industry, the majority of which has been served at senior management and board level. His experience spans most aspects of the industry life cycle including; oil company operations, major capital projects, support services and product manufacturing. Alan also serves as Chairman and Non-executive Director of stock market listed, private equity-backed and privately owned companies within the oil & gas and utilities sectors.
