Hohe See Offshore Wind Farm – 54.7km of Copper Core Inter-Array Cables

JDR supplied inter-array cables for the EnBW Hohe See offshore wind farm. The farm consisted of 71 wind turbines with a total capacity of 497 MW, covering an area of approximately 40 km² in the German Exclusive Economic Zone of the North Sea.

As part of the project, JDR delivered over 54.7 km of copper-core inter-array cables along with a range of accessories. The cables were manufactured at JDR's state-of-the-art facility in Hartlepool.

Once fully operational, the wind farm generated around 2 billion kWh of electricity annually, supplying 497 MW of power to 71 turbines. This energy powered approximately 560,000 homes and saved around 1.5 million tonnes of CO₂ each year.
