In 2019, JDR supplied an IWOCS rental system for operations in the Gulf of Mexico, specifically for the Na Kika A7 well. Designed to work independently of the drilling riser, this system ensures resistance to strong subsea currents. The innovative design freed up valuable deck space, reduced installation time, and proved effective in challenging marine conditions. The system included a single-wire deployment solution and 15,000 psi control umbilicals, demonstrating JDR’s expertise in providing efficient and reliable subsea solutions for complex offshore projects.
