IWOCS Supply and Service in the Gulf of Mexico

JDR signed a contract for the provision of IWOCS services for a deepwater project in the Gulf of Mexico. The contract, which began in February 2020, included the supply, installation, and maintenance of optical electrical downlines and integrated fibre optic conduits for eight wells, as well as IWOCS umbilicals, terminations, safety systems, and hydraulic power units (HPU). JDR also supplied additional technical specifications required to ensure the project could withstand significant deepwater pressures. IWOCS, winches, OEDL, HPU, flying leads, and other equipment were provided by JDR’s Houston, US office.
