JDR Brazil Service Center promotes Environmental Education Project \(PEA\) for local students in Macaé
On Friday, 7 November, the team from the JDR Service Center in Brazil carried out the Environmental Education Project \(PEA\) at CEM Ana Maria Bacellar Leite e Santos School in the Imboassica neighborhood of Macaé, in partnership with VM Environmental Consulting.
The initiative focused on the theme “Climate Change and Its Impacts” and aimed to inspire younger generations to better understand environmental challenges and take an active role in protecting their surroundings.
Through interactive activities and discussions, students from the 3rd to 5th grades explored the effects of climate change and participated in creating a Climate Committee — a group that will continue promoting sustainability within the school community.
By engaging children in hands-on environmental learning, the project seeks to foster curiosity, leadership, and collaboration — empowering students to become advocates for positive environmental change both at school and at home.
