JDR Cable Systems at Mental Health Awareness
: As part of Mental Health Awareness week in the UK, JDR Cable Systems are excited to launch a number of initiatives to support our employee wellbeing.
Nurturing the wellbeing of our people is important to us. We have introduced our Wellbeing Policy which outlines how we plan to manage wellbeing within the business. In order to raise awareness and encourage open conversation around Wellbeing, we are rolling out Mental Health Awareness training for everyone. We are also recruiting Wellbeing Champions across all areas of the business, our Champions will be the first point of contact for colleagues who may be struggling with poor mental health, and they will encourage the individual to access appropriate support along with promoting the wider wellbeing strategy.
Mental Health Awareness week is a great opportunity to shine a light on a number of great tools already in place, such as YuLife which has a wellbeing hub alongside online health assessments and health cash plans.
