JDR WINS AWARD FOR BEST USE OF EXPORT FINANCE
: JDR, a leading supplier of subsea umbilicals and power cables to the global offshore energy industry, has been honoured for its activities using UK Export Finance. UK Export Finance ensures no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance, while operating at no net cost to the taxpayer. The award was revealed at the UK Export Excellence Awards 2017 Ceremony & Gala Dinner, which was held at the Grange Hotel, Tower Bridge in London on Thursday 15th June.
JDR was shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of UK Export Finance’ category against a number of international businesses across a range of industry sectors. The award recognises JDR’s continued export success, which has been enabled through its close partnership with UK Export Finance, allowing JDR to grow overseas activities in line with its strategic plan.
Ivan Coyard, JDR’s Chief Financial Officer, attended the dinner and collected the award on JDR’s behalf. Ivan commented: “We are extremely proud to have been selected to win this prestigious award, in front of leaders from the UK’s export community. The UK Export Excellence awards profile the UK companies that are set to play a key role in the country’s economic growth. Judged by an independent panel of experts, the awards reward excellence in exporting across a range of industries and regions.
